(E) Session: Research Redesign Learning Achievement Workshop
In this learning achievement you get the chance to explore how you might engage in inquiry around a question in a new and different way. As part of critiquing the original stuy and designing the new version, you'll demonstration your understanding that ontology, epistemoogy, and methodology must be logically consistent (aligned); and that researcher choices have implications for the kinds of understanding we derive from different inquiry approaches. You'll choose two articles (hopefully two from your CRR so that you're already familiar with them) and for each approach a related question for each from a different methodological angle. Since you won't actually carry out the research, you get to devise an approach to inquiry where time and resources are not constraints as part of demonstrating your compentency in research design!
