OVERVIEW

This 2-week session is the final in the series and continues from where SPSS-II left off.  Now we’ll investigate techniques for further hypothesis testing – in the case, Regression. Regression analysis allows us to (1) explore the relationship between variables, predicting the mean outcome of a dependent variable given one or more explanatory variables and (2) estimate the effect of an independent variable on a dependent variable. We will explore the several types of regression (e.g., linear, logistic, polynomial).

PRE-REQUISITES
SPSS-I and SPSS-II or equivalent skills/knowledge.
