Research Visuals. Bar graphs, pie charts, bell-curves, oh my!!! Statistics isn’t all about numbers,
visuals are a key component of understanding quantitative research. Students should come
prepared to engage in a conversation about the power of using visuals in communicating
research findings with visuals.
 

Topics we will cover:

  • Pie Charts (category data)
  • Bar Charts (category data)
  • Histograms (continuous or scale data)
  • Line Graphs (continuous or scale data)
  • Bell Curves (continuous or scale data)

What you will take away:

  • An understanding of how to read visuals used in quantitative research
  • Answers to your questions about the visuals you see in research
